The Tukdah Tea Garden was founded in 1964 and is located in the Teesta Valley at an altitude of 762–1981 metres. Approximately 210.000 kg of tea are harvested annually on 288 hectares of tea culti-vation area. The word Tukdah in Lepcha means ‘place of tigers’. Fresh taste and an aromatic body with a light cup from the early harvest phase.
