Rich broken teas from Assam and Indonesia define the character of this blend. Statistically speaking each East Frisian drinks 300 litres of East Frisian tea per year and thus are world champions on tea drinking ahead of the Chineseand English. In 1806 the grocer Johann Bünting blended the first East Frisian tea. This tea is best enjoyed with rock sugar and a cloud of cream.
