The North Tukvar Tea Estate covers 195 hectares and is located in eastern Darjeeling at an altitude of 457 to 853 metres in a ‘rain shadow area’, i.e. an area with an above-average amount of rain and shade. Despite this fact, a sprinkler system wasinstalled, with the help of which 75 % of the garden can be watered as needed. This tea has a distinctive delicate tart note and a slightly sweet finish. An elegant tea yet strong character that spoils the tea lover at any time of the day.
