The Rukeri tea estate is located in the Kinihira district in Rwanda and produces about 12% of the teas coming from the country. The project got its roots as early as 1975 with the construction of thefactory to create a new economic sector in Rwanda. The wiry leaf is reminiscent of Ceylon teas, the taste is pleasantly mild with caramel notes and a ruby-coloured cup. A miracle in terms of value for money in the organic category.
